The Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia is seeking a Director, Service Delivery Cape Breton. This newly created role will provide expert advice and senior strategic leadership to the Sydney, Cape Breton office. With a passion for their community, this visionary role will inspire leaders in the region to invest in health and safety programs, support return to work initiatives, and will help to build confidence in Nova Scotia’s workplace safety and insurance system.

The successful candidate is a visionary senior manager with proven strategic leadership and management success. He/she possesses exceptional interpersonal, communications and leadership skills. He/she demonstrates strong diplomatic and influencing skills and is adept at building relationships with and alignment among key stakeholders. Education and experience in business, health, safety or a related field is considered an asset combined with a minimum of 10 years related experience with at least the last seven in progressive leadership/management roles.

Based out of Sydney, frequent travel within the Cape Breton region and to Halifax is a requirement of this position.
