Our client, a national leader in sales and distribution of industrial products has an immediate requirement for a highly motivated and very driven sales and client/product support professional to join their growing organization in their Halifax, NS offices.
Reporting to the Branch Manager and working closely with an internal team of technical sales and product specialists, this individual will represent the organization in the market, providing high level technical product and customer support to a wide range of industrial and commercial contracting clients and suppliers while also providing support and research to the Branch Manager. Previous sales or customer support experience in the Fire Protection market or related PVF industrial markets is an asset. The Sales Representative will formulate purchasing and pricing decisions on a daily basis and will demonstrate sound business sense and judgment. Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills are absolutely required as is the hunger and drive for sales success. This is a growing organization with a great deal of opportunity for long term professional development and this individual will be keen to learn and constantly take on more and more. The ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment, both independently and in collaboration with a team of sales and product specialists is essential.
The successful candidate should have previous industrial sales, service and/or product support experience in Fire Protection or related PVF industry and will demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to career development and progression. The ability to develop and nurture customer relationships while driving sales growth and providing quality service and support is critical.
