Civil Technologist

Our client is seeking a Civil Technologist to join their team in New Brunswick. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop your technical skills in a field with like-minded professionals in a positive hardworking environment.

You will be responsible for field inspections and quality checks during the construction of new utilities, roads and subdivisions, and you will communicate with developer's representatives on-site regarding deficiencies. Materials testing experience in asphalt, concrete and related materials is a must.

Further responsibilities include investigating and advising on a variety of civil engineering applications on public roads and construction sites. As well, you will be preparing estimates, writing reports, and administering testing processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate will be a graduate of a recognized Civil Engineering Technology program or have equivalent education and experience, and be eligible for certification in New Brunswick. You will have 3 - 5 years related field experience, be familiar with 'best practices' techniques and be motivated to take proactive corrective action. As well, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and superior written and oral communication abilities which are essential.
