For its office located in Saint John, NB it seeks a Senior Tax Manager to participate in and supervise challenging tax projects and to contribute innovative tax solutions and planning for a diverse clientele. The Senior Tax Manager role incorporates planning, organizing and delivering tax engagements for Canadian corporations. Maintaining technical skills by remaining up to date on business and tax trends and developments is required to ensure effective application of solutions to complex situations. Business development for this position includes identifying opportunities for providing tax services and establishing relationships with clients to ensure a sound understanding of their businesses. In addition, mentoring and coaching of tax professionals and junior staff will develop the branch and contribute to the achievement of team objectives.

As an ideal candidate, you will possess a professional accounting designation, CICA I & II in-depth tax courses, 7 years of relevant tax experience and a broad exposure to federal corporate income taxation. In this leadership position, you must have quality management skills coupled with solid organizational abilities. By having an exceptional ability to foster and maintain strong business relationships, excellent communication skills are required.
