Our client, a leader in public accounting, provides industry focused assurance, advisory and tax services for public, private and government clients in all markets and as a result of high demand in the tax department they are seeking a Senior Tax Manager for their Halifax, NS location.
Responsibilities:
Provide timely and high-quality services
Help develop and guide staff and other junior tax professionals by providing effective coaching
Build technical competence
Proactively seek opportunities to provide tax services
Build strong client relationships
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
Professional Accounting Designation
Both In-Depth I & II tax courses
Minimum 7 years relevant tax experience
Broad exposure to federal income taxation
Excellent managerial, organizational and communication skills
