Operations Supervisor, New Brunswick

Our client, a leader in the lumber and forest products industries, is seeking a Operations Supervisor for their business in New Brunswick.

Reporting to the Area Superintendent, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising 25-35 employees, executing logging plans, hiring contractors, performance management, daily management, and work order process. Coaching and training the contractors, the Operations Supervisor will also be involved in public relations, quality checks and job assessment, and safety practices. You will also oversee administration/payroll and be involved in the employee personal development.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Forestry Technician/Technologist program

• 2-3 years relevant experience

• Team player attitude with a strong work ethic

• Computer skills, problem solver, committed, loyal, and focused

• Strong drive, technologically inclined, organized
